Information on the Processing of Personal Data
We inform you that we process your personal data provided to us in connection with the use of our services.
Data Controller
The controller of your personal data is Talem Technologies sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Bydgoszcz, ul. Cieszkowskiego 22/U1, 85-052 Bydgoszcz, Poland.
Scope of Processed Data
We process the personal data you have provided to us in connection with the use of our services. In particular, this may include:
- first and last name,
- email address,
- phone number,
- residential address,
- company name,
- business address,
- VAT number.
Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
We process your data for the following purposes, based on the relevant legal provisions:
- conclusion and performance of a contract,
- issuing invoices, maintaining accounting records, and fulfilling tax obligations,
- establishing, pursuing, or defending claims related to the contract,
- recognizing returning clients, maintaining cooperation history, correspondence, or prepared documents.
Data Recipients
Your data may be processed by:
- hosting company, storing data on the server (including email),
- Google, within the Google Workspace package,
- invoice software provider,
- CRM system provider,
- accounting office,
- IT team, as part of technical support,
- our subcontractors, if their services require access to the data.
All the above entities act on the basis of appropriate agreements and ensure the security of your data.
Your data may also be transferred to tax authorities and other public institutions if required by law. In case legal assistance is needed, your data may be shared with a law firm, if necessary to protect our rights.
Transfer of Data Outside the EEA
Since we use Google services, data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Google ensures an adequate level of data protection, among others, through the use of standard contractual clauses.
Data Retention Period
Your data will be stored for as long as we conduct our business or until you object to its processing. An objection will result in the deletion of the data after the limitation period for potential claims arising from the contract. Please note that data included in accounting records must be stored for the period required by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- rectify your data,
- erase your data (if there is no basis for further processing),
- restrict processing (e.g. storage only),
- object to processing (with justification of your situation),
- data portability (receiving data in a machine-readable format or transferring it to another entity),
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO).
